experience, and promote the campus as a place of ideas. A role model to many, he has
an inspirational story, having come from migrant farm work and poverty to a career
of more than 30 years with ABC News, including serving at the anchor desk at “20/20”
and “Primetime.” Throughout his career, he has broken many barriers and gained numerous
accolades while accumulating a nationwide fan base. He is also a champion for the
                                                Latino American Dream.
Quiñones’ uplifting, powerful, inspirational messages focuses on individuals learning
to believe in themselves, never giving up, and always doing the right thing. For 14
seasons, he has sought to instill these values among millions of people who watch
the highly-rated “What Would You Do?” program that uses a hidden camera to film individuals
                                                facing an ethical dilemma.
Quiñones has enthusiastically embraced this role off camera, with a popular book and
keynote presentations that challenge both business and general audiences to examine
the What Would You Do? moments they may face every day. This contributed to his recent
recognition with the presentation of honorary doctorates from Davis & Elkins College
in West Virginia and Utah Valley University.
